What is the Home Comfort Program?
PGW’s Home Comfort Program offers free energy-efficiency improvements, such as insulation and air sealing to income-eligible customers, reducing energy usage by an average of 14%. This program helps lower utility bills, enhances safety and covers both single-family and multi-family homes.
Additional Energy & Housing Programs
> The PGW EnergySense Program offers a suite of rebates and financial incentives for high-efficiency, natural gas equipment that helps customers save energy and money.
> Lower your gas bill up to 50% by enrolling in PGW’s Customer Responsibility Program. You must supply proof of gross household income for the past 30 days along with the name, social security cards and date of birth for each household member.
> LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) is a federal grant that helps income-eligible families pay their heating bills and restore gas service in the event of a shutoff or heating emergency. Grant amounts are based on household size and income and do not have to be repaid.
**Rebates are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to available funds. PGW serves the right to change and/or end any portion of this program without notice. Rebates are only available for premises served by PGW Firm natural gas rates.
