What is the Comfort Partners Program?

Comfort Partners provides no-cost weatherization and energy efficiency upgrades to income-qualified households. This program takes a comprehensive approach to energy savings, including considering efficiency, building performance and health and safety issues.

Who Qualifies?

The Comfort Partners Program is available to any New Jersey household with significant energy use, having an income at or below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines.

Households that do not meet the income guidelines but receive aid from any of the following programs may still be eligible:

> Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
> Section 8 Housing
> Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
> Federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
> General Assistance (GA)

You may also be eligible if:
> Your home is more than 5 years old
> You have an electric or gas utility account
> You haven’t used the program in the last 5 years
> You’re a homeowner or renter (with landlord approval)
> Your home is a single-family house or a building with up to 14 units
